Nissan RB26 compared to a modern 6 online does have a rather low oil capacity and if fitting a high flow oil pump or doing track and circuit racing then even with baffles and oil control modifications such as oil restrictor and head drains you will soon suffer oil starvation. The way around this is to increase the oil capacity from 5 litres to around 8-9 litres. This can be easily done with a sump extension.
Our RB26 AWD extended sump kit increases capacity by approx 3-3.5 litres to an overall capacity of around 8-8.5 litres (This can be greater if using an external oil cooler). Comes fully welded as a kit with extended pick up and full rubber gated internal baffle.
This kit will require to be professionally fitted by a a skilled workshop (as the factory sump will require cutting and welding) specialising in alloy fabrication work.
We also offer a sump version to suit block braces which are typically 12mm thick. Overall height is 12mm less abs pickup modified to suit.
