- With 36 teeth, the wheel gives 10° crankshaft resolution between teeth.
- This allows the ECU to make precise ignition and fuel timing adjustments, especially at high RPM.
- The higher the resolution, the more accurate the timing can be, improving performance and efficiency.

- The two missing teeth create a unique gap, helping the ECU quickly identify Top Dead Center (TDC) on startup.
- Faster, more reliable synchronisation = quicker starts and better idle.
