The Nissan Skyline GTR models R32-34 with the RB26 were factory fitted with low impedance fuel injectors. To minimise current draw on the ECU’s injector drivers and to protect the fuel injector itself, an injector resistor pack was used.
When upgrading to high impedance fuel injectors such as Bosch 1000cc/min injectors or Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors, the injector resistor pack must be removed and bypassed by using an Injector Ballast Delete.
Fitting is easy, simply unplug the factory resistor pack and plug in the delete connector.
